So I’ve been reading this manga called “Love So Life.” It’s basically about a young girl’s adventures while babysitting these two twins to help their uncle. This is one of them freaking out ‘cause he wants to stay for a sort of “Power Rangers” live show, while the other is disinterested and wants to wander off.

Iiii could not stop laughing for the life of me. That face.

A few of my guy friends really like Stargate (the show[s?])

So this weekend, since they’re letting me stay at their apartment during Comic-Con, I brought the uber old Super Nintendo Stargate game (based off the movie.) When I was little, my mom got it because she really enjoyed the movie, and I had a difficult time even trying to beat it (not sure if I ever did.)

They had a good laugh over the fact that it even existed, and one of them played it for a while. It’s not the best game—as usual, a vast majority of games based off movies don’t go to well as it is—but it was funny to watch him play and run around lost in such a pixelated environment (they have a wonderfully fancy HDTV, I can’t tell you how ridiculously bad it must be for your eyes to play Tetris Attack or Super Metroid on that TV.)

But, yes. Silly fun.

COMIC-CON FOR THE NEXT FOUR DAYS, WHOOOOOOOO. A search for Mass Effect and Dragon Age memorabilia for me, Star Trek for my mom, and just generally walking around being a nerd.

I did this with all sorts of things—my sister’s empty pringles can, sleeping bags, large cardboard canisters…and was planning to try and make one out of coke bottles long ago.
